This building was built in 1864 by Chinese workers (who often worked in construction in the 1800’s), and was connected to the tunnel system running under Main Street. The building housed one of the first businesses downtown: a general store, bar, and Wells Fargo stagecoach stop. At one time, the building even included a brothel. It later became Gay 90’s Pizza, which is the business currently there. This building is one of the most famously haunted buildings in Pleasanton, and many people have heard mysterious noises, seen ghosts of Asian appearance near the entrance to the now caved in tunnel, or seen a woman on the second story.
